I’m going to do make a shameless plug for a website I’ve been putting together for the last couple of weeks. As a keen snorkeller I’ve noticed there are surprisingly few snorkelling focussed websites out there. Hopefully… www.snrkl.com will go some way to plugging this gap. The idea with it is to bring travel tips and guides, reviews, and other helpful information together in one place. I know there’s a lot of people out there who have an interest in this stuff so we’ll see how we go in engaging with them. At the very least I should be able to fulfill my own needs here. : ) Here’s one of the first posts on my recent trip to New Caledonia. New Caledonia is only 2.5 hours flights away from Sydney, has no time difference during DST and if you’re very lucky there are cheap flights available. Normally though it is pretty pricey with a very French dominated economy and a correspondingly French language barrier. It is a spectacular place though and needless to say the snorkeling is amazing.
